Adult tool safety class slated at GrCo HS

Participants will then have access to monthly work nights

The Greene County Schools construction department will be hold a tool safety class for interested adult patrons of the school district on Monday, Sept. 20, from 6 to 9 pm at the career academy. 

Attendees will be taught to properly/safely use the table saw, surface planer, belt sander, oscillating spindle sander, planer, joiner, lathe, and mortise machine. Individuals who successfully complete the course will then be able to access the Greene County School construction department shop and use select equipment on a monthly basis. Dates and times for the monthly construction work nights will be determined following the completion of the class. 

There is a $25 registration fee for the class, which will be due the night of the class. Registration is limited to 15. Click here for the registration form.
